This video has been done for nearly a week now, but Tumblr wouldn't let me upload it, so in the end I decided to take my chances and upload it to YT as an unlisted video (but please don't mention the name of the show in the comments, I don't know how thorough the copyright screening or whatever is. But this vid is just about the Glee kids and their friendship - I tried to equally share out screentime but obviously I have my own favourite characters. But I've covered all the major group performances. Anyway, I hope you like this :)

Three videos in one week! I know that's a lot, I apologise for spamming your flists! But this idea just grabbed me and wouldn't let go, and I've been so inspired since my exams finished. I've been wanting to try out using more voiceovers for a while (I never think I do it very well and if it's done badly I feel like it jars me out of the video) and I knew I wanted to use an instrumental song. I have a large collection of scores and other instrumental songs on my iPod but I wanted to use something that isn't particularly well-known (I ended up choosing a piece called Linda and Jim from the Premonition score) since I didn't want people to be distracted while they watch. And I also have quite a few pieces earmarked for other projects, so. Anyway, I'm really pleased with this video and it is one of very few videos where I teared up when I first watched it all the way through. So I hope you like it!

So this video was inspired by multiple quotes, including the one at the beginning of this video.

The idea behind it stems from that beginning quote about Harry’s protectors. I decided to focus on Harry’s parents, Goblet of Fire (although Cedric wasn’t a protector, I feel like that part of the film and Cedric’s death helped shape Harry’s character and his feelings about death, so I included him), Order of the Phoenix (Sirius), Half-Blood Prince (Dumbledore) and of course Deathly Hallows (Moody, George, Dobby’s death, and then the Battle of Hogwarts (including Fred, Lupin and Tonks) up to The Forest Again. I also decided to compare the various times Harry has faced Voldemort alone, without protection. I just hope all that comes through in the video! And I hope you like it :)
